This qualification defines the skills and knowledge required for road transport trainers who will be training individuals or groups in cars, heavy vehicles or motorcycles. This qualification is not for the public to gain a driver’s licence.
– Car open Driving Instruction (both manual and automatic)
– Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction – all classes of Truck licence)
– Motorcycle Riding Instruction – open licence)

Training commences immediately with 5 generic units in the course completed at your own pace by correspondence with personal support from ACTM trainers through emails, zoom sessions and phone calls.
When the theory components have been completed, the practical training sessions are delivered on our vehicles on a one on one basis with your personal ACTM Trainer, on a part – time or full time basis at times that suit you. The practical training sessions will be delivered at your pace supported through having access to a range of resources, coaching and times for practicing your skills.
Our Trainers and Assessors are fully qualified and experienced professionals in delivering Driver Training and Assessment in their area of expertise having years of industry experience.
Competence in the required units in this qualification, does not in itself result in a Driving Instructor Licence within your State.
ACTM’s trainers will guide you through this process to obtain your respective Driving Instructor Licence from your State Transport Department as ACTM’s Qualification is recognised by the State Regulators.
