ACT Training (ACTM) trading as ACTM Training & Consultancy — Last updated: 14 August 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website, actm.net.au.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms apply to your use of this website only. They are not a training or enrolment agreement. If you enrol in a course with us, separate terms apply to that enrolment, including fees, payment, cancellation and refunds. Those terms are provided to you before you enrol.

2. Who we are

This website is operated by ACT Training (ACTM) trading as ACTM Training & Consultancy, a registered training organisation, Registration Code: 2927.

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean ACT Training (ACTM) trading as ACTM Training & Consultancy, and “you” means the person accessing the website.

3. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this website, and the date at the top shows when it was last updated. Your continued use of the site after we publish a change means you accept the updated terms.

4. Using this website

You may use this website to find information about our courses and services, make an enquiry, and contact us.

You must not:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that breaches any law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the website, its servers, or any network connected to it
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or any system connected to it
  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or anything designed to damage or interfere with the site
  • Use automated systems to scrape, harvest or extract data from the site without our written permission
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on the site
  • Use contact details published on this website to send unsolicited commercial messages
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your association with any person or organisation
  • Use the website in a way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it

5. Making an enquiry

When you submit an enquiry through this website, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it.

An enquiry is not an enrolment, and our response to an enquiry is not an offer of a place in a course. Enrolment occurs only when you complete our enrolment process and we confirm your place in writing.

We aim to respond to enquiries promptly during our business hours, but we do not guarantee a response within any particular timeframe.

We handle information submitted through this website in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Course information on this website

Information about our courses — including content, duration, delivery mode, entry requirements, availability and fees — is provided as a general guide and may change.

Course information on this website does not form part of any agreement between us. Before enrolling, you will be given current course information and enrolment terms, and those documents prevail over anything on this website.

Nationally recognised training we deliver is listed on our scope of registration on the national register at training.gov.au. That register is the authoritative source for the training products we are registered to deliver.

Completing a course or unit does not, by itself, result in the issue of a licence, accreditation or industry authority. Licensing and accreditation decisions are made by the relevant regulator, not by us, and are subject to their own requirements.

See our Disclaimer for more about the accuracy and use of information on this site.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, layout, design and course descriptions — is owned by us or used under licence, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print content from this website for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any copyright or ownership notices.

You must not otherwise reproduce, adapt, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any content from this website without our written permission.

Our name, logo and trade marks may not be used without our written permission. The Nationally Recognised Training logo is used under the conditions of use set by the Commonwealth.

8. Links to other websites

This website contains links to third-party websites, including government and regulator websites and mapping services. We provide these links for convenience and information only.

We do not control those websites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link does not mean we endorse them. Your use of a linked website is subject to that website’s own terms and privacy policy.

9. Website availability

We aim to keep this website available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that it will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the website for maintenance, upgrades, or operational or security reasons, without notice.

10. Accessibility

We are committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disability.

If you have difficulty accessing any part of this website, or you need information in another format, please contact us using the details in section 15 and we will help.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The rest of this section applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Information on this website is provided in good faith and on an “as is” basis for general information purposes. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data — arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from any inability to access it.

Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant information or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against any loss, damage, cost or expense we incur arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful or improper use of this website.

13. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts able to hear appeals from them.

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is severed and the remaining terms continue to apply.
